Englishman, 81, wakes up from massive stroke speaking fluent Welsh!

An Englishman has baffled doctors by waking up after a severe stroke speaking fluent Welsh despite having never learned the language.

Alun Morgan, 81, was evacuated to Wales during the Second World War but left 70 years ago. During his time there, he was surrounded by Welsh speakers, but never picked up the native tongue.

They say he must have remembered it from when he was there. Yeah right - have you heard the Welsh language? Learning Klingon would be easier. And all these other cases where people have woken up from comas/strokes talking with foreign accents: Call it whatever syndrome you like, I think it has to be a memory from a past life unlocked by the stroke!
