Now, for my opinion.

A) If America cannot, or refuses to repay its debt, say goodbye to your dollar value. You cannot simply print more money because it will all be next to worthless. Nobody will want to trade with the American dollar.

B) With a shitty dollar, investment becomes impossible. Businesses will fail and every debt within America will be called in. This will create a cascade of bankruptcy. That inability of anyone being able to pay their debt will cause an economic collapse.

C) Everything will be expensive. And no-one will want to provide goods and services to a country where the dollar is worthless. Think; Backward African, Asian countries. Tour leaders are on the brink of a Third World America.

D) America will need more money to avoid these issues. It will probably want to borrow its way out of trouble. To do this it will need to raise taxes on everything it can. EVERYTHING. Services will have to be cut and public servants trimmed off by the bushel. Kiss goodbye to the military spending of the past. It too will have to be cut back.

This overview is very simple look for those who need some insight into how bad things could get if America refuses to tax up in order to be granted more money. Your great country needs a handout. In effect, your government is currently running on food stamps.

Get ready for some interesting times.

To much is given much is required, want to redistribute wealth? A simple yes or no is all that is required.
