Now we know just how far they are willing to go. Which happens to be REGISTRATION of ALL banned weapons. I wonder how long the 'grace period' will be? You know, the time they give a private gun owner to register, fingerprint, photograph himself and his weapon? Think I'm exagerating? Read the bill. [ link to www.feinstein.senate.gov] anyone that registers their weapons deserves what they get next...they are making lists people.....remember they work in baby steps.register today...knock on your door tomorrow,week,month,year... I wish i didn't have to. But in my county, not state wide. Firearms from a FFL have to be registered with the local police office. The FFL does all this for you and issues you a blue card. If you do a private sale, you technically don't need to do blue card or a background check, you can just hand someone cash and take a gun home. It's a country law in Vegas from the old mafia days, that required gun owners to carry some form of registration or some stupid shit, so they could weed out mob members, and the law is still on the books. They are trying to remove it. but a national gun registration like being proposed here is just insane. the whole blue card thing is just a county issue here, in the rest of the state you don't need to register long guns or handguns
