WE have had laws making it difficult for criminals to own machine guns, since 1934 with the national fire arms act. I wont post all the provisions here, but basically if a civilian wants a full auto they must be registered with the Federal Government, and you pay a 200$ tax stamp to the feds, go through extensive background checks. Since that law has been in place, about half a million machine guns are LEGALLY in American's hands. All of these years, all of 2 murders since 1934 have been committed with a legally owned machine gun on record. The criminals have plenty of machine guns though, the law did not to stop that. You should research US gun laws. This bill being proposed is calling for a national gun registry. That's the first step in Tyranny. |
