The officer clears the chamber by pulling the charging handle multiple times. So if the rifle was in the trunk, now what?

Re: AR15 clearly being pulled from trunk of car at Sandy Hook
Remember history, for it repeats:

How the UK lost its guns:

" During the latter half of the 20th century there were only two incidents in which people holding licensed firearms went on shooting sprees and killed on a large scale, the Hungerford massacre of 1987 and the Dunblane school massacre of 1996; each led to strong public and political demands to restrict firearm use, and tightening of laws. The result has been among the strictest firearms laws in the world.[12] After Hungerford, the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 criminalised most semi-automatic long-barrelled weapons; it was generally supported by the Labour opposition although some Labour backbenchers thought it inadequate.[13] After the second incident, the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1997 criminalised private possession of most handguns having a calibre over .22; the Snowdrop Campaign continued to press for a wider ban, and in 1997 the incoming Labour government introduced the Firearms (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, which extended this to most handguns with a calibre of .22 (there are exceptions for some antique handguns and black-powder revolvers.) "

If any of you own an AR15, you know that video is damning proof to the contrary of what the media says.

Re: AR15 clearly being pulled from trunk of car at Sandy Hook
Sorry, that's not an AR -
1. The shape is wrong
2. The way the guy is grabbing the handle would not cycle an AR. The latch on the charging handle is on the left, not the right side.
3. When the officer flips the rifle, you can clearly see a wood "thumbhole" stock. This is an AK style weapon. Looks similar to a MAC-90 to me.

Definitely not an AR-15. But why no news on an AK-47?

I didn't think it looked like an AR either. But the shape and handle definitely looked like a rifle like an AK as the other guy said. What was the source of that clip, are we sure it was from newtown?

I have never handled an AR-15 before. Spent 9 years in the military firing an M-16. That is not the way you clear an M-16. I assume they clear the same way. Just my 2 cents worth.

That wasn't an AR15 in the trunk not even close, the charging handle is in the rear on an AR not the right side unless it was a SIG556 or 551. Whatever that kid has was not an AR. Media bullshit.

THIS AGAIN???????

This video has been posted about 60 times on this forum, and shown 6,0000 times on MSM. The gun has been indentified here on GLP, right down to the specific stock type. It's NOT an AR.
