My Russian buddy is from St. Petersburg. He described in detail the people,the culture,arts,the pace of living and it sounded so appealing. He says it is a beautiful wonderful city to live in. Even before the supposed end of the cold war he would have stayed in the Soviet union but America was at the time where the money was to be made.
