Thinking about moving to Colorado. (from texas?)
Hey GLP'ers- hope everyone had a merry Christmas.

I am 20 years old righ now, I have a good job, a gf and my own place, but I can not stand it here anymore.

I'm in DFW and am seriously considering moving to Colorado.

Anyone know anything about it?

I Love Tecas, and it Will always be my home, but I feel like over the last couple of years, there has just been an influx of stupid people. Like theres something in the water..

Driving to an from work, at work, grocery shopping, all stupid people. And I know stupid people are everywhere, but I just feel like Colorado would Lean more towards my Libertarian Lifestyle..

In Colorado there's mountains, and beautiful scenery( I've never been though, just word of mouth)

And MJ being Legalized is just the cherry on top.

Plus I heard Colorado is still pretty lenient with gun laws.

What do you think GLP?

Colorado or stay in TX?

get out of DFW, colorado is no different than most places and depending where you go is exactly like DFW.

Re: Thinking about moving to Colorado. (from texas?)
type in city names into the glp search box on right hand top. you'll learn a lot.

I got my education in colo.

couldn't wait to escape.
that's when I started going on sites like this...while my eyes were being opened by what I observed in colo...finally glp...trying to decipher what I was seeing/experiencing re: secret gov/ unusual sights in the sky/n*0*rad etc. colo is where I first experienced 'police state'. now, I'm attractive blond, blue eyed w/ no record whatsoever (except maybe a couple old beatle's lps ...ok, ok, bad blond joke)
but I got unusually harassed and followed by the local constabulary there and to this day do not know why.
seriously, maybe I'm too much a 'sensitive' but it was the worst experience of my lifetime.
for a bunch of reasons, I can't handle going into details.

homeless people hanging around the starbux that my gut told me were undercover agents. by coincidence, had lady friends whose hubby's worked inside shyanne mt. much more to tell but few would believe me. the lady I helped there told me not to tell her story cuz I was the first one who believed her (po*lice brutality) surveilliance cameras on every street corner.

bolder's better but ya gotta be a trustafarian or indy wealthy to survive there. and lot's of psyops being done there at the univ.

the countryside is beautiful, but...there is a price to pay.

maybe you'll have a better experience than I. But I'm sharing this -wishing someone had done the same for me. I went there very naive.

Dude i'm 21 and live in the DFW as well. Why would you wanna leave? Do you know how many job opportunities there are in and around the Dallas area. There is soo much to do. Not to mention we're in TEXAS. Trust me bro, when the shit hits the fan, you'll wanna be in Texas. Colorado is too cold man. Plus the economy in DFW is only growing and growing. Theres far more work and things to do here. I'd stay here. Get a girlfriend. Have i even mentioned the women in Dallas? Yeah they can be shallow, but they're super hot. THe chicks in colorado are fried

People in Colorado struck me as snobby like no where else I've ever been.

I didn't like it though it was pretty.

Texas is my home state, moved to Colorado from Houston. I love it here and have never regretted the move. However, I'm not sure CO has the balls to fight for rights like Texas does. cool2
The trap I set for you seems to have caught my leg instead.

I do not exist. Only you exist.

Apparently not too many girls in the mountains in Colorado.

It's closest to the mountains that can be considered a safe zone.

MOVE TO Western WASHINGTON STATE!

Weed legal here too, less stupid people, jobs galore, for my age group anyways, (im 20 also)plus right now it seems to be the safest state in the US. no drought, no heavy snow storms or tornados or hurricanes or none of that. the only thing i hate about wa is that we only get sun from like march until sept/october. then it's nothin but rain and cold weather. other than that it's chill up here.

Re: Thinking about moving to Colorado. (from texas?)
OP I use to live in Colorado Springs a few short years ago.
Couldn't wait to leave.

Ouside of the scenary, there is nothing there. Denver is about a 45 min. drive north of the Springs and driving in the snow is not ideal on a two lane highway.

I moved to Dallas/Fort Worth and wouldn't trade it for the world.

Life in Dallas was much better than the Springs. Plus you have a job so there is no reason to complain. Dallas beats Colorado on the social scene and job opportunity. If you need to go somewhere and get away just drive two hours in any direction out of the DFW and you'll still be in Texas (lol). There is more than enough space to get away from the crazies. Plus I heard that a lot of people from NYC and up near that area have been relocating there so there you go.
Colorado is not ideal. Texas is better.
