What is it about customer service that people feel the right to walk on, talk down to, disrespect, judge and/or simply demean a customer care person?? Being IN the field of customer service, I treat other of the profession with as much respect and leniency as possible.
Outside the workplace, I have NEVER been talked to in such ways.. Perhaps people feel they can get away with such attitude? Better believe if someone talks to me outside work, the way I was just treated on the phone, they'd likely be in the hospital, and I'd earn a trip to prison.. How I bite my tongue, ALL FUCKING DAY is beyond me.. After all, I am a red head and been known to be short fused if a situation warranted such... Im so fucking steaming right now.. I can only pray that asshole on the phone doesn't come in today.. Just might lose my cool, and my job.. What a fucking monkey!!!

A big problem I've had lately is you call and deal with somebody that speaks broken English. After asking for somebody else or a manager for a few hours and a few calls, the first person that can understand what I'm talking about hears it for the other 5 that shouldn't be working on the phone!

Sorry about you getting shit on op, but that's probably why.

Thanks guys.. Its a shitty game we gotta play in the customer care field, but... someone's gotta do it.. At least I HAVE a job and get paid "ok." On normal days, things people say to/about me dont bother me the least.. However, I think it piles up .. The more I ignore it, the more it adds up inside.. GLP is a good place to vent...
