Everytime a facebook thread starts up, someone (shill?) always says you can't delete your account permanently.

Yes you can.

It's not easy to find the information, but it can be done.

Good idea to purge your facebook first to be sure, i.e. remove posts, delete photos, and so on.

Then perma delete, here's how:

Do not sign in again though, because signing in reactivates it, that's for the two weeks after you perma delete.

After that two weeks, it's gone. Ain't never coming back.
