If any of you dumbasses think that posting on Facebook is ANY different than posting on GLP, you're delusional. Posting ON THE INTERNET anywhere is being monitored.

The biggest threat is that fb started to use face recognition system. Everyone who put their photos there are at database. Now they need only to combine this with all of those CCTV cameras and they will know your every step.
They can easily get the name, contacts (and all additional info) of every man on the street.

Facebook is just a front for the CIA which is controlled by the establishment. The establishment want to disarm us so it's not surprising that they are doing this.

Funny how I post 2nd amendment topics all day long and yet my account has been unmolested.

I call bullshit. the accounts were deactivated for other reasons, like they were fake accounts (not using real names) or they posted violent or explicit images.
More likely they were reported for being asshats to someone else.

anyone dumb enough to put their private life, politics, friends, family, etc., on facebook deserves whatever may happen to them.

Any MORON could see that FB is a front end for something far from innocent and innocuous.

And I find it amusing that in it's support of destroying the 2nd Amendment they have no problem walking all over the First Amendment as well (Free Speech and Freedom of Expression, etc.)

DO NOT THINK FACEBOOK is merely an innocent social exchange network. It is MUCH MUCH more and far darker than any of you ever could imagine. The potential for misuse of the info contained on FaceBook is astounding - and yet ignorant and unthinking people flock to it like a moth to a flame! But just like that moth - eventually you will get burned up by that flame! BE CAREFUL. Get OFF OF FACEBOOK IMMEDIATELY!

Once the info you've posted there becomes "stale" it will be eventually purged from public view. However that can take years. And it will be archived and available to viewing by any governmental agency indefinitely. Even changes on your FB Pages won't do it. The original and previous versions are always archived for viewing by any agency with the force of law to demand it. That's almost everyone from the Animal Control at the county level to city cops, to State and Federal tax authorities, and so on. There are not many governmental agencies that couldn't get to old archived versions of Facebook if they wanted to!! Best way to handle it is to NOT EVER POST ANYTHING or even have an account!

Next best option is to delete that account and never go back to the wretched thing!

Every e-mail, phonecall,every site that you visit is all logged and then analyzed anyway. I believe that you use the tools before you to fight this battle. I have converted most of my family to prepping they my many Facebook posts. I know I am on a list, and it isn't the one for "re-education".

I rarely used my account. One day I went to log on when I was out of town, and it said it didn't recognize my computer. It asked if they could call me, and I said no because I wasn't home. So my account got blocked, suspended, whatever. I sent them an email asking why, and they said I had to mail them a copy of my driver's license to reopen my account. Yeah right, I'm going to do that...

I use facebook to annoy liberal family and friends with facts. I won't be surprised when they shut me down.

When I read the info at the link, I thought it said media pages being deleted/terminated/suspended/whatever.

I then followed the link to their original source and it was one of those sites that must not be named that many people consider to be a loud shill. So eh? This may not pertain to regular folks...yet.
