Might I add it will start with America and then the countries of Western Europe, including the United Kingdom. America from what I understand through Christ Jesus is going to be utterly ripped apart, West Coast gone, interior destroyed, and parts of eastern seaboard submerged. We will in less then a day be non existent in the eyes of the world.

Are you referring to JohnMac? I've not heard from him or about him for a very long time and I did think about him a few times during these times. I bailed out as a member when John stuck with her
ridiculous prophecies (NONE of which came true) and
her mother showed her stripes when she cussed out
out everybody who questioned her daughter's "gift".
I mean cussed a blue streak, like a drunken sailor.
She was bleeding members for money with her incessant
sob stories, and that was all she wanted anyway, $$$.

Thanks for this. I'm a bit shocked by his web-site and can't seem to really understand what he's really trying to get across ( at one stage, he still calls Jesus his Saviour ). I 've never seen his face before so I cannot confirm that its him, the Johnmac I used to know through the net.

Yeah, I remember about the Marissa episode. I believe that we've all grown much ( spiritually ) since then and can now understand better what levels of deception one can get into even in the midst of searching for a deeper relationship with the Lord or understanding of His spiritual truths.

The real enemy is still Satan and his demonic hordes. I've since then witnessed so many sincere Christians being deceived in so many different ways, yet, the Lord has brought many out of it and made them stronger and wiser which is part and parcel of maturing in the faith. Its only those who do not admit to their mistakes or foolishness before the Lord that has gone from bad to worse in their deception and sadly, some has been destroyed by the enemy.

I too admit that I've also gone through these stages but I've also found that the Lord will use it for our good if we had done such things with good genuine motives and will not only deliver us but build us to be stronger from these mistakes and that is what I'm hoping had happened to Marissa and her mum as well as I still wish them well in the Lord, just as I do with JohnMac..

These are still our brothers and sisters and if I can have a chance to assist them back on the right path if they had departed from it, then, I'll really give it a try at least but at the end it will still depend on their own choice or decision but at least I don't want to be found guilty of not doing anything when I had the chance or worse, to be found to be party to condemning / abandoning them in their time of great trial and testing. ( at the very least, to remember to pray and intercede for them if we have lost contact with them )

Somehow the Lord has brought me to this thread to be reminded of these brothers and sisters and I'm grateful for that...thanks for the reminder...God Bless..

I was a member on "Rapture Now" almost to the end,
and I saw the deception creep into the site until
it was overwhelming.
Then the spin off sites started little wars over Marissa.
It got to be too much for me, so I bailed out of all
of them.
That, and the cliques, who ruled like dictators.
Too much.

I pray John will come back to the foundation which
is our Rock and our Salvation, Jesus Christ.
We ARE NOT going to create a Heaven on this Earth
on our own. As a matter of fact the Word of God
says things are only going to get worse and worse
until Jesus returns to take His rightful place as
King of kings and Lord of lords.

It is depressing to see Christians go off the deep end.
All we can do is reason with them out of God's Word,
and pray for them.

I've checked out his site a few times, and it's disappointing to see the deceptions that he sometimes posts. There is some good, and some bad.

If he is a christian, he should rethink giving satan a platform on his website that leads to deceptions.......things like messages from the "ashtar command" and other lies from satan that lead others to the pit.

We are responsible before God what we post and advertise, and if you advertise for satan, then that's really a bad thing to do.

I'm not judging him as a person, or his relationship with God. That's his business........but some of the stuff he puts up on his site in my opinion is satanic in nature. A believer does not owe satan any air time or a platform for deception.

I remember that he used to be so open and honest with his posts and even tells everyone about his conditions with his wife and his finances ( that's why I knew that he was humble and his heart was in the right place ) and how he'll hold on to the Lord all the way.

I guess he might have been deceived into believing that the Lord had abandoned him ( since no Rapture happened as he had expected it to then and with the added stress of constant financial strain together with an unsupportive, rebellious wife who had threatened to leave him a few times )and that's why he gave up somewhere during those critically trying times and it broke his last straw on clinging on to the blessed hope, which is often a wide open door for satan to move in..

I will by God's grace and enablement try to win him back to the Lord if he is indeed into these demonic deception. Your agreement to uphold me in prayer for this battle will be appreciated since you know him too. Lets not let satan take any of our brothers and sisters and their families to hell without a fight!!! ( especially such a good brother formerly )They need us to do the battle for them at this time because they are bound at this point by interceding for them and invoking the Holy Spirit to step in to cast out and destroy the works of the enemy over them...your reward from the Lord will be great just for doing this with His love flowing in and through you...God Bless..

John was VERY open about his personal problems
and financial problems, and I agree that all of that
on top of the failed rapture prophecies may have
pushed him over the edge.
I'll be praying he comes back to the Lord, and that
the Lord would open his eyes to the deception he's in.

He has a Paypal thing going on his blog, and maybe
there are likeminded people supporting him, so this
may be a tough proposition.

I've seen time and again where well-meaning
Christians spend great amounts of time, effort, and
finances to develop websites that blow up in their
faces (Nathan Leal for example, though he did reopen
his forum).

Johnmac used to post to GLP, but even as recent as
2004 or 2005 he was into that NESARA thing, which
started out political, and morphed into a way out,
beyond weird, cult.

I was kicked off that forum (banned), because I shared my visions of Jesus there. One of the mods basically said I was demon possessed and then I was instantly banned, instantly, with no explanation.........nothing. All because I shared my visions, which were nothing but encouraging and beautiful.

That hurt so bad, I still remember the pain of being cast out by my own brothers and sisters, like I was a piece of trash. I cried for a few days.

I sent Nathan an email telling him that I forgave him, and didn't even get a reply. That hurt even worse.

I forgave, but the pain was very real. Still hurts when I think about it. I did nothing but share the love of Jesus there.

This is why I can't bring myself to go to a church, people judge you when they don't understand something and they are so quick to toss you aside like yesterday's garbage, even if you've done nothing wrong.

I quit going to Watchman's Cry, never was a member,
because people were saying things I didn't agree with,
but that is another example like RaptureNow.
Nathan made some time-sensitive predictions that
flopped, and so did others there, just like RaptureNow.

Most of the sites I know of like Five Doves and R.I.T.A.
still set dates, which obviously have ALL been wrong
so far.

So, to get to my point, I don't know how ANYBODY can
throw stones in those glass houses. But just like here,
if you tick off the wrong person, you're history.
I wouldn't let it bother me.

We're not all going to agree on ANYTHING until we ALL
have the mind of Christ, in our resurrection bodies.
Then we'll ALL agree on EVERYTHING!
