Have you been shot? If so what does it feel like?

I was shot in the back of the head with a BB gun rifle from close range. No penetration luckily.

It feels like being hit with a cricket bat, very hard.

Want to know what it feels like?

Have a good sized man take a twenty lb. sledge hammer, swing with all his might, and hit you a good solid lick.

That will give you an idea of the impact, of course you wont have all of the blood, bone, and contusion injuries, but this will give you an idea.

I would personally rather be shot as opposed to stabbed.

My wife shot me. I know it was an accident, because I'm still here. I wear the bullet on a gold chain she bought me. It was a ricochet, and didn't break the skin. I just had a big bruise on my arm. It didn't hurt too bad. I've hurt myself worse working on cars.

My brother shot me in the butt with a slingshot when we were kids.

Hurt & left a big bruise. Punched him upside the head & kicked him in the boy parts -- he hasn't shot me since.

Last i heard of the bully who had shot me in the back he had moved to the us and had been murdered ,probably been shot.

Yeah when you gals go for the coin pouch it usually only takes one time.

It still hurts forty years later.

It probably doesn't seem real important to people that haven't been shot. Most of them don't even look at this thread.

As a kid a neighbor boy shot me with a daisy one pump BB gun. So I grabbed my dads competition series pellet gun and shot him in the ass as he ran away screaming like a little bitch girl. It went right through his jeans, into his ass, and hit bone. He needed surgery to remove it.

My dad congratulated me and bought me a dirt bike. The kid was a neighborhood bully. Everyone was secretly happy I blasted his ass.

It feels like a freezing/burning feeling andthen numb then very painful. Feels like glass is scratching against your bones.

I got shot in the forearm with a .22 caliber, feels like burning and a pain that comes in waves.

357 to the leg. Clean through didn't hit bone. Felt like someone took a swing at me with a baseball bat and the bat went right though. Didn't hurt right off. Matter of fact had to see the hole in the front of my jeans and back of jeans to verify that yes I had been hit. Not much blood either But later that night after being discharged from the hospital the throbbing severe pain wouldn't stop and I bled like a stuck pig.

Luckily I was wearing a bullet "proof" vest. it was with a .38 +P+ at about 15 yards in the chest.

It felt like getting hit with a wooden baseball bat with Babe Ruth hitting a grand slam.

Sounds excruciating.... I have never been shot, been stabbed but was pondering which would feel worse.....seems like they are both jst as scary bad to me.

I'm in Dick Cheney's hunting club. The first one hurts, but you kinda get used to it.....oh and I have one eye.
