Apparently he saved the USA from some dizzy arab who lived on the other side of the world and had some fireworks hidden under his pillow. Praise be to the man who never had to fire a weapon in anger but made damn sure that others did.

He pulled a few strings here :-
Vietnam ? Lots of innocents dead.
Iraq ? Lots of innocents dead.

But he never fired a shot.
