I have mine in memory of my son. they are addictive. I never would have had a tattoo until I was faced with this horror of child loss (afraid of needles) but...why am I telling you this... Sorry for your loss. I don't really have anything against them. I just couldn't imagine doing anything permanent to my body that I might not like tomorrow. believe me if you were to lose a child there is no telling what you may do. My son wanted a tat. I was against it. He was 16 when he passed. Since than I have gotten a tat every year. Don't never say never because you just don't ever know.  to you. Lost my son 10 years ago and have quite a collection of tats, lol. OP, I don't think it's the color, I think it's the area, I hear under the arm is rather painful and I know the foot hurts like a bitch, lol! And around the belly button - Oh My!
