Would you agree that the society is being manipulated to have certain ideas, cravings mainly by mass media - movies, music, video games, TV shows etc. ?
And is this dependent on an individuals amount of exposure to this media?

This is fair. But false for me. In fact,this rule doesn't exist where I come from, as everything that is digital is considered to be available for free without consequence.
I live in a country of digital pirates. Pirating is considered THE way of acquiring music, movies and games you desire.
Everyone enjoys a good movie or a TV show, right?!
We love to drift away into our fantasy, attach our emotions to the characters, feel hope, feel fear, power etc.. That is what this entertainment does to us, no?
It is quite magical how you can, just by staring onto a plastic box, manifest tears, joy, ideas and deep emotions.
Then it ends and we go live for a bit, after a while we have a longing for more of this magical experience.
I used to smoke and it was the same kind of an 'itch' to have some more, to let go of everything and concentrate on smoking for a bit, or just to be social, involved.
Drug cartels are interested in that their clientele doesn't just die out, so they do not open an ''all you can inject buffet''.
This isn't so for us pirates. There are no restrictions to how much media we can absorb. And we take as much as we can carry.

Too much of a good thing.
A group of guys went to Chernobyl. In the ghost city they found a cash machine with coins. They decided to each take one coin. One of them was very greedy, thinking he could sell them, and took a handful. After a while, the greedy one started to feel symptoms, but didn't know the cause. He died. The rest finally figured that it was the coins, but it was too late.
It is obvious what I am implying - pirates are the greedy one.
People become lethargic, emotionally unstable, lazy the more they consume media. They become anti-social and self-centered. Filled with ill thoughts and NWO ideas. These are some of the symptoms.
The more you consume media the more stimulus you have received to buy, to get more money, to get more sex, to not feel happy about what you have got.
The younger they are, the less they need to consume for 'the effect'.
I thought it is strange that my little 8yr old cousin has the same psychological problems, state of mind that I had only when I was 13-14, puberty.
Recently I discovered that all of his classmates are like that. Teachers describe kids as overly sensitive and unstable.
Nobody has the patience to learn new skills, have hobbies, work hard to improve, as they are so used to the quick and easy fulfillment of victory from video-games.
Is it too late already for us too?
