That dude ripped you off(3 years??- could have taken a class), and yes, kinda an unhealthy business(spreading chemicals) even with 'proper' protection...but then again I poured concrete and laid block for 25 years...probably not much healthier, the shit I inhaled in on a daily basis... yeah post on all the local free sites...put up signs around town...business cards on all bulletin boards you run across..soon word of mouth will help, if you don't suck  -and show up in a clean vehicle, clean clothes...presentation matters The state requires 3 years of work experience. I had 500 cards printed and still trying to save enough money to get my truck lettered properly instead of stick on letters and some embroidered work shirts. but still, for free? 3 years?? Well, best wishes any way!!
