You mentioned you had some and may buy others relatively soon. How many do you need, OP? How many is enough? I would seriously try to answer that question. Be rational and humble and just try to follow His leading. You can only fire one at a time, unless you are Rambo, lol.

Just chill out and try to be prudent. Don't go all crazy and wacko. Just try to be some prepared for protection.

Re: I am having a tough time with this whole gun ban thing, from a spiritual stand point?
first I am not a shill. I am a christian who owns guns! but why? I keep going back and forth on the whole issue! 1 is an issue of faith, if i have faith why do i need a gun? 2. Going back to what Jesus said about the end of times!

51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.

52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

the verse in red is referenced to this verse in Genesis 9:6

Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Meaning if you kill man you are killing God!

It also refers to this verse in revelation: He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword.

Now, I am a huge gun advocate, however I am so confused by this.

I think I am going down the wrong path! Can somebody help, I am not a shill, I am looking for spiritual clarification here...?

Among the scriptures you already quoted here's a couple more, followed by my testimony.

"(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)"
-2 Corinthians 10:4 (KJV)

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."
-Ephesians 6:10-20

"But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also."
-Matthew 5:39

I am also a Christian who when first awakening (by God's will and direction) to what's been going on in the world (I was sound asleep spiritually, and what was going on with the Governments/nwo etc for 22 of my 23 years of my life) I started prepping and bought an AR-15 and a CZ-75 (this is when God first began to call me and started molding & fashioning me) But then he revealed to me through scriptures and symbols on the Guns to disarm, as this battle is spiritual so I sold them.

Not only is one just going to run into more problems when they DO come to take the guns, but also with owning a gun (for defensive purposes etc.) comes the probabilty of use, which does not fit into my credo of 'What Would Jesus Do?'

Hope this helps you make the right choice, may God lead you by the Holy Spirit.

Peace and God Bless.

Good evening, Mr. Easily Confused...

When Jesus instructed Peter to "put your sword in it's place", he was telling Peter to put the sword (which Jesus instructed him to purchase, by the way) in "IT'S PLACE, indicating that it HAD a place. At Peters side. It was to be used to protect Peters life, and or the life of others.

But Christ had no need of protection, because His MISSION here on earth was to DIE, for the sins of the world.

This the very same reason He rebuked Peter earlier, when Peter tried to convince Jesus NOT to go to Jerusalem, and suffer, and then killed. He even told Peter "Get thee behind me, Satan", because it was ultimately Satan USING Peter to try and sabotage Jesus's mission here on earth.

So when peter once gain tried to STOP Jesus from being taken, THAT is why Jesus once again rebuked Him. Not because Jesus didn't believe in self defense.

There are MANY instances in the bible where Gods people are instructed to make swords and weapons, and go into battle. The bible also makes it clear that self defense is NOT murder.

The Apostle Paul said that anyone who would not provide for his own (including SECURITY) is worse than an infidel.

Are you still confused?

This is getting SOOOO old.

STOP taking things out of context. All you are doing, is making yourself look like and ignorant fool.

Jesus was speaking of PERSONAL CONFLICTS here. Not instances where someone is trying to cause grievous injury (or death), to you or your family.

It's so incredibly simple. God made SELF-PRESERVATION and SELF-DEFENSE the NUMBER ONE INSTINCT, of every plant, fish, and animal!!

Please.... Pull your head out!

Basically, weapons are for war.

Would you need weapons to protect you if there was no evil to protect you from?

No.

When all is said and done, we will have went through some very dark times.

But the smallest light can fill the darkest void.

Weapons will be banned.

I'm not going to argue with you but I will say this. There is no denying the other scriptures that I or OP posted, and furthermore the scripture from Luke you quoted is very much spiritual and not physical.

And in Matthew in the scripture I quoted before right before he says "Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:"(This phrase goes back to ancient Mesopotamian culture that prospered long before the Bible was written or the civilizations of the Greeks or Romans flowered and had to do with physical punishment under Hammurabi's Code.) so I do believe in this case he is talking on a physical plane.

Did Jesus fight back when he was persecuted and attacked? Of course not, and as CHRISTians, we are to follow his example.

Besides the things of this world passeth away, and true harmony and life the way God intended doesn't start until the millenium/new heaven/earth. Why defend anything of this world? Why defend to stay alive in tyrannical/facist/new world order? Why risk losing eternal reward to defend this temporary painful, physical existence when the Lord has so much to offer those who endureth til the end?

All I can say is I have absolute certainty that I was personally being led by God as I saw signs and wonders. I also have reason to believe from your posts that you are not being led by the Holy Spirit.

Please do not advocate violence in Jesus Christ Name. Thank you.

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" -Matthew 5:44 (KJV)

And when they crucified Jesus he said "forgive them father for they know not what they do.
-Luke 23:33-4

I am not aware of any saint/disciple of Jesus Christ in the new testament who when persecuted for his faith fought back, but if it exists I encourage you to share the scriptures with me.

According to God's plan and Bible Prophecy we know what must come to pass and any truly born again man, who repents of sin, who denies himself and takes up his cross daily and is being led by the Holy Spirit knows where we are regarding the times and season. And even if it could be fought off, using guns/force is not how it could be quenched but only by prayer, fasting, and repentance. Only faith in God can save, not faith in man/his guns etc

Glad to hear the posts inspired you and that you feel they are biblically sound. I certainly don't have all the answers and there's always the possibility I could be wrong, I try to just let the Lord guide me, and lean not unto my own understaning.

Praise the Lord for His love, His sacrifice, His Word, and for sending us His Holy Spirit to guide us in His ways. The ONLY way that produces true peace, joy, and harmony is God's way, and the rule of mankind and our ways has been a true testimony to this.

I pray, God, that you reconcile our lives and our will to your will, and that we are able to what's pleasing to you and boldly witness in your name. I pray that you help all those who are lost and despise you, that they may experience your Love and your joy, and that they may be able to come to know you as Lord and Saviour. I pray Lord that you deliver those of us who call upon your name from false doctrines and teachings, and help us to grow ever increasing in your name, and for your glory.

Amen

It is quite obvious what they are going to do. First, they are buying up a lot of rounds. Next, they want to disarm us. Says it all right there, besides all these fake PSY-OPS.

ISAIAH 11:11

"And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea."

If you think of the forces of opposition as enemy, then you have given them a victory. If you come to hate or revile them, then their work has been completed according to their intent. If you fear their realms, their thoughts, their works, or any aspect of same, you have empowered them.
It is a time for you to consider, Where are the references for my peace? Are they without or within?
