COTA! This explains your wise observation that DA-14 is incoming with a debris trail because the electromagnetic exchange which causes the seismic activity ON THE PASSING ASTEROID (and surely on Earth as well) is chipping away at the asteroid's mass, thereby creating a debris halo traveling with the asteroid!!! So of course the debris halo begins arriving likely weeks (or maybe months? Since your stated October observations?) before the major body arrives! You're great! A person of few words and wise beyond your years! Thank you! [link to science.nasa.gov]

Forgot to add that of course Earth is but one of scores and possibly hundreds of planetary or astral bodies that this asteroid, atremble with seismic response and calving, skims past, thus centuries of these grazes could generate a very impressive debris halo. You are a great bloodhound!yoda

Zhirinovsky: no meteorites, it’s new US weapons test
by Aleksandras Budrys at 15/02/2013 11:54

The leader of Russia’s Liberal Democratic Party and vice speaker of the State Duma Vladimir Zhirinovsky accused on Friday the United States of testing new weapons over Russia immediately after reports of a meteorite explosion appeared.

Love and Light to all. Thank you OP, this is spectacular...and maybe not in a good way. Yet how can anyone say that we are not blessed to experience the most interesting of times.

Re: Meteor Scans, Debris and Comet ISON
Old article from last year claims claims...

The Earth’s gravitational field will alter the asteroid’s path significantly. Further scrupulous calculation is required to estimate the threat of collision,” said Dr. Dunham, as transcribed by Russia’s Izvestia. “The asteroid may break into dozens of small pieces, or several large lumps may split from it and burn up in the atmosphere. The type of the asteroid and its mineral structure can be determined by spectral analysis. This will help predict its behavior in the atmosphere and what should be done to prevent the potential threat,” said Dr. Dunham.

bump NASA is embarrassed they knew nothing about the Russia strike today, so they're face-saving with their "2 opposing trajectories thus not DA-14 debris" cover story. What horse shit! Watch this for proof of why an opposite trajectory by a front-running piece of DA-14 debris over Russia today!
[link to m.youtube.com]
Today's Russia impact is from DA-14 no matter what NASA claims to the contrary. This piece of DA-14 debris U-turned around Earth and of course it was going in the opposite direction! Watch this video on Lovejoy for proof. Make sure you watch the blue-screen video clip (inside this NASA video) of Lovejoy's U-turn around the sun.
All comets are asteroids. I repeat: COMETS ARE ASTEROIDS. They are not dirty snowballs. Asteroid Lovejoy startled the ca-ca out of NASA and all they could claim was that "some comets like it hot." How asinine is that? Lovejoy blows their Standard Model sky high, and they still refuse to concede! Sorry, guys. Lovejoy was an electrically charged asteroid (they all are!) hence the tail of charged particles. Lovejoy was a rock and all its debris halo (its cometary tail) was supercharged by the sun's supercharged atmosphere. That's why it didn't melt on such a close pass with the sun! If it were dirty ice, there was no way it could've survived the sun! Duhhhhh! And a DA-14 vanguard piece U-turn was repeated this morning over Russia.yoda

So now a huge fireball over San Francisco within the past hour.
I'm sure it's totally unrelated to DA-14 (sarcasm).yoda

Lots and lots of debris still showing on the scans, clearly more active now than before.

It'll be interesting as ISON passes by... we should place our bets on the possibility of meteor showers. chuckle

I found this shot interesting because of the 'moving' nature of the one scan.
