No one should rule the world. The worlds people should form small representative democracies that form larger ones that form larger ones that ultimately form a world government.

Money should be abolished. Without money there is no need for violence. Wars aren't fought for land or justice or glory--nor God or religion--but for money. And money isn't even real.

People will live in peace and flourish when we get over money.

Whose electricity? Who owns it? And who owns "technology"?

Why do you want to credit the handful of bully assholes who cause war with "electricity, internet and technology"?

I think the natives were doing perfectly fine when there was no such thing as government. Sure they were living in dangerous times (famine, diseases, etc) but they weren't constantly being watched by police. They had no idea what the IRS was. No Federal Reserve printing worthless paper to control the economy.

There was trading, there was some fighting, and plenty of land to go around. All sounds good to me.

But since everyone is ignoring the actual question because lets be honest, all countries suck in their own way, I feel compelled to throw OP a bone.

If a single country HAD to rule the world, I'd go with Australia. They're really laid back and get along with basically everyone. You ever hear of them getting in a war? Or experiencing one economic collapse after the other?

They protect their borders, so they're not overpopulated. Sure they're an island but the laws they have on immigration are respectable ones. They're not super rich, but they certainly aren't a third world country either. Aussis respect nature and aren't butchering their resorces, yet have plenty of thriving big cities too.

Also the drinking age there is 18

Germany. When I was stationed there I watched them closely. The stereotype is true at least it was 30 years ago. They really are thourough,methodical,precise well paced people deliberate in their actions. They take their leisure seriously but work hard produce good products and watch their waste. I watched women scrub on their hands and knees the sidewalks in front of their homes with bristle brushes. That sort of discipline and pride impressed me. I think they could administer a world government well and probably better than most. Might want to leave the artsy fartsy Berliners out of it though.
