I also own and have owned may pit bulls in my time, and can say they are the best dog breed I have ever owned. Fiercely loyal, superb with children, true members of the family - If raised correctly. Don't mess with them unless you know what you are doing. I wish this thread would be taken down. It is just exposing people to the great suffering of the dog, who indeed had it coming. Its media hype/attention. I would think you conspiracy clowns would understand that. It was the Doberman then the Rottweiler and now the Pit. All dogs have the potential to be vicious. The larger breeds cause more damage. Then again most of you sheeple are too ignorant to realize this. I’ll put it to you like this… get shot in the face by a Red Ryder BB gun and then by an AR-15, both from 20 paces. Tell me which one hurts more. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1607700 The difference between pits and Rottweilers/dobermans is that the AKC doesn't even recognize pit bulls as an official breed. They are mongrel trash dogs that should be rounded up and destroyed. Horrifying breed only defended by wannabe gangsters and white knight fags (until they inevitably get bitten, of course). Some of the best dogs that people will say they've owned are mongrels (mutts). Pitbulls, like any other breed, owned by responsible people are just fine. What needs to be rounded up are the asshole irresponsible owners. |

Even lions know they need the whole pride to take down a buffalo (most of the time), this dog seemed to have had a screw loose somewhere in his head. The horse did what it needed to do to defend itself. Such is life... |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 11347742 Canada 12/28/2012 09:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I bred Horses. Have Quarter Horses. Have a couple Big Stallions. Raised them from Colts. They are kind and gentle. But a Stallion is a Stallion. Stallions are rated the 5th most dangerous animal in the world. Even though I know mine well I never completely trust them. When its breeding season they losss their heads so to speak. Think with you know what. Removing a mare from a pen can be interesting. You have to mind your yourself huge and watch your back. A stallion will grab you by the shoulder. Throw you down and stomp you. Horses bite all the time. I have seen people with their faces bite walking by stalls. I have been bite by my colts on my arm several times over the years. On my back picking up feet. The ones I have rescued or bought right off the track are the worst for having bad attitudes for a while. They are sour because they have been worked so much from very young. I usually turn them out for a year and just ignore them. They eventually turn back into nice horses with a rest and then its all good. Slowly get them to warm back up to humans with some kindness and some good feed and treat oats. I had one attack me in a field once just run right up and kick me with both hinds. Sent me flying. Most horses are good but there are exceptions. |

Take a look at the Staffordshire Terrier. Look familiar? Does it look menacing? Can it cause damage in the wrong hands? Yes, that is an AKC breed and a very close cousin to the average Pit. Like I said... most of you are simple and ignorant. |

Watch videos of lions, tigers and bears. Even zebras kill..elephants...pretty eye opening. The dog in this video wouldn't stop, he was suicidal. Crazy stuff. |

Ever hear of dog fighting? well when people make animal fight for fun / money it's a different story. the pitbull asked for it Many pitbulls were bred for the purpose of fighting. So the pitbull was most likely acting on instinct. Again, it's the irresponsible owners who are at fault. |

I would love to eventually own a pitbull that is bred proper, and not the freak bully pitbull that unfortunately portrayed. A proper pitbull IMAGE ( [link to www.pitbullvideo.org] ) One of the best looking dogs out there, and proper care and training wouldn't hurt a fly. Now I show you what ghetto trash with shortcomings love. IMAGE ( [link to worldclassk-9.com] ) That is called a bully pitbull, and they get the most aggressive and muscular father's and mother's together to develop these fighting dogs, but of course not all of them go into fighting so ghetto trash buy up the rest. I agree pitbulls can be a problem, but your hate on them is the same as hating all movies, or music, or tv stations cause some have adverse effects on our society. |

Sure, one should always cage those pitbulls until they are taken to a fight They don't have to be caged. But a responsible dog owner, especially of a dog that has the potential of being aggressive toward other animals, should be appropriately confined to the owners property. It's not that difficult. Quoting: BRIEF Not much longer, pistols will be totally banned. They might ban the sale and manufacturing of pistols but they won't take them from me...my permit to carry also says lifetime, there's no negotiating a lifetime. I have pistols and other guns, I hope they don't come to my house asking me to turn them over. |
