The woman was described as heavy-set, about 5'5", wearing a heavy winter coat. And nobody was able to catch her?

Was she a world-class sprinter who just happened to be fat with short legs, wearing bulky clothing?

How did nobody who witnessed her push the man grab her? I find it hard to believe that not a single person went to grab her, or chase her, or kick her legs from behind to trip her, or tackle her, or yell ahead to other people, "STOP THAT WOMAN! SHE JUST PUSHED A MAN TO HIS DEATH! HELP! GRAB HER! IM COMING TO DETAIN HER!"

Seriously, are people, men especially, that impotent today? I guess this is the city where dozens of onlookers & neighbors heard her cries for help as she was stabbed to death on a NYC street. [link to en.wikipedia.org]

How did she get away? I would have definitely chased her down. An overweight, short, middle aged woman is definitely not outrunning the average person.

I would have form-tackled her, pulled her jacket over her head, and twisted her arm behind her back with one hand, while calling (ugh...I know...) the authorities.

Especially since something similar JUST happened!

This makes no sense.
