Ad Lib User ID: 24338672 United States 12/28/2012 08:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I only popped out of bed at 4:30 this morning because I took Coq10 before bed.. which turned out to be a mistake! I had too much energy to lie there any longer. Although it is not true that all conservatives are stupid, it is true that most stupid people are conservative. Lulu-girl (OP) User ID: 30711377 Canada 12/28/2012 09:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I feel refreshed, like I could get up and run. No feeling of anxiety or adrenaline. Just dreaming one second, eyes open and awake the next. I can go back to sleep about half an hour afterwards no problem too. I was just wanted to know if there was anyone else experiencing this.. If you think age is a factor, I am 26. ** To boldly go ** |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 14318106 Australia 12/28/2012 09:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not sure what it is..I have never been a morning person, for work the earliest I would need to wake up is 8am. I typically sleep in til about 11am whenever possible. Quoting: Lulu-girl I feel refreshed, like I could get up and run. No feeling of anxiety or adrenaline. Just dreaming one second, eyes open and awake the next. I can go back to sleep about half an hour afterwards no problem too. I was just wanted to know if there was anyone else experiencing this.. If you think age is a factor, I am 26. Yes, I've been a IT guy for a long time and lived the lifestyle of late nights (2am min) and late mornings (10:30am) for 20+ years. These days I wake up without fail at 3:30am (ADST) and again at 5:30am. Usually the 5:30am wakeup, I'm so awake, I just get out of bed and watch the sunrise. (no Nibs btw sorry, and I watch the sun come up every day lately) I don't understand why it's changed, I don't go to bed any earlier but I'm always up just before dawn. Not terribly tired either? |
Lulu-girl (OP) User ID: 30711377 Canada 12/29/2012 08:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have no idea why things would change now.. But I guess maybe this is a new stage in my life. I woke up again without fail at 5:30 am.. Looked around and settled back in and fell back to sleep until 7:30 (time to get up for work) I know that I am usually up about 5 minutes before my alarm in the morning (Good biological clock) but the 5:30 is still too weird for me. Feel good though... ** To boldly go ** |

scorpio66 User ID: 2453057 United States 12/29/2012 09:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You are probably using your brain as an alarm clock and don't realize it. If you are expecting now to wake up at 530, you will because somehow you've told your brain now. I learned this "trick" on the radio when I was like in 7th or 8th grade and it really works. I still use an alarm for backup, but if I tell myself what time I need/want to wake up, it works. Try telling yourself before you go to sleep at night that you need to wake up at 730 and see if it doesn't work after a few tries, maybe even the first time. The only problem I have with this system, is now that I'm getting older, I have to wake up and pee during the night and that really sucks. But then I do still wake up at whatever time I want to. |
