I think eventually our social structure is going to reform around smaller communities. Not really towns or cities, these places will possibly be home to some of these communities though.

Groups of people that put up eachothers' houses and keep eachother safe. Groups of people that grow crops and tan hides, machine tools and smith guns. Embodiments of the "City on the Hill," groups of skilled craftsmen and intellectual renaissance-people.

There will be a lot of Wacos too, before it's all done. Don't let the feds see you as a threat. The first step in not being seen as a threat is not being one. The second step is continuing to pay your taxes. There's licenses you can buy to smith your own guns, fully automatic or not. Federal Firearms Licenses aren't terribly expensive.
