No One Knows Where We Came From, Where We're Going, Or If There Are 1 Or More Gods Or Not. I didn't die, but I had an OOB, met the prince of darkness himself, believe it or not, he has more power than most people think. He can see the future, cause pain telepathically, and of course omniscience. I am not saying this is all truth, but he showed me how we're all connected, and seemingly we all share the same '1-mind' behind it all and that we chose to emulate the suffering and pleasures of the world. But I am a Christian so it could have been attempt to deceive me out of my religion... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25234912 I've had some crazy dreams, and they are far from credible accounts of reality. Unfortunately, OBEs are no more credible than dreams. Cool story though. |

No One Knows Where We Came From, Where We're Going, Or If There Are 1 Or More Gods Or Not. Today, like many other days, I feel helpless, helpless, helpless. Helpless There is a town in north Ontario, With dream comfort memory to spare, And in my mind I still need a place to go, All my changes were there. Blue, blue windows behind the stars, Yellow moon on the rise, Big birds flying across the sky, Throwing shadows on our eyes. Leave us Helpless, helpless, helpless Baby can you hear me now? The chains are locked and tied across the door, Baby, sing with me somehow. Blue, blue windows behind the stars, Yellow moon on the rise, Big birds flying across the sky, Throwing shadows on our eyes. Leave us Helpless, helpless, helpless. ~Neil Young |

No One Knows Where We Came From, Where We're Going, Or If There Are 1 Or More Gods Or Not. So you conclude this how? Would it not be more probable and likely that nothing existed without a Creator? Nothing comes from nothing and something cannot come from nothing. Something can only come from something. You know this. And therefore since things exist they were created by that very original something which must be the Creator. We humans do a number on our brains, accepting crazy notions like the "big bang" theory as the origin of everything. That by the way is Kabahalist and occult in origin because their god is a "force"....an unknowable principal/law which set everything in motion. Which is easily ascertained as not the Creator because the big bang is "something" which could not have come from nothing. Therefore again we must acknowledge the Creator of all and everything - the designer of the laws of the universe and everything from suns to moons to humans - is an eternal Creator. But you conclude "that something must have existed without a Creator" which is IMPOSSIBLE. |

No One Knows Where We Came From, Where We're Going, Or If There Are 1 Or More Gods Or Not. I must say that I really agree with your logic. It is so simple yet so true, it is mans inability to live with the unknown which forces him to subscribe to one religious belief or persasion. Instead of man humbly admitting that no one really knows how we got here, we flock to all these man made institutions to appease our egos. Most if not all religions were started by honest men just trying to make sense out of the unknown. Over time these stories travel and evolve just like Chinese whispers. Look, I have no problems with religion and I believe that they add both positives and negatives to this world. Muslim or Christian, I couldn't care less, in fact I personally love the teachings of Jesus and I'm sure there are others in religious history who lived exceptional lives too (did he really exist?). But that said truth is, regardless if people acknowledge it or not, 95% of people in this world simple follow the religious, cultural and family trends of their environment, THAT'S A FACT. As for me, we'll I'm a deist. All this means to me is that I believe in a God or a higher force but guess what, this is not fact. My belife is based on this beautiful planet, the amazing solar system and mans amazing ability to reason ie, use our brains. Do I believe in any special books, messages for these last days, ghost, tongues, hell fire stuff, nope. Do I have any evidence to support my belief, well beside this wonderful world and my God given reason, not really. Hence I recognise that I don't know how we got here and while I do hope there is somewhere better after here, if their aint, then at least I can say I did my best to enjoy my small time on this planet while I was here. |

No One Knows Where We Came From, Where We're Going, Or If There Are 1 Or More Gods Or Not. OP, you say there is no creator, but then how did the universe come about? Something created it, which in turn makes them the creator. This earth, the stars, the planets, didn't just appear out of no where, just like we didn't evolve from bacteria, like the darwintards like people to believe. We have been around on this earth for a mere millisecond in time, yet look at all the things mankind has created, if we are capable of all the things we have done all the way to cloning etc etc in the time span we have had, it would actually make sense that there is a higher intelligence, being, god, what ever you want to call him, who has been around since the dawn of time who is vastly more creative then we could ever be. Sorry OP, I don't buy the whole Darwin explanation, or the big bang theory. Even if you take the big bang theory, something would have had to be here for it to go bang, so where did that come from? And so on and so forth. There are vast questions about the universe, the only regret I have is that we will never leave this planet in my lifetime to go out and explore the universe. The wonders that must be out there to see one can only begin to imagine. Oh well. Maybe in the next life. |

They can't stand living in a state of not knowing so they delude themselves into thinking that they know currently unknowable things.
