I've been called many things on this forum but never a coward before.

There is no way to "uninvent" the gun and to think that can be done is really delusional.

And no way am I going to be a sitting duck for every robber, murderer or rapist especially with them thinking everybody is unarmed.

People can make their own guns, too, so even the stop of manufacturing them will never remove them from the hands of criminals.

Anyone calling for the disarming of law abiding citizens is ignorant of history and is blind to current acts of violence. I posted about these three Ukrainians: [link to en.wikipedia.org] in a thread a few days ago. These young men were about 19 at the time and killed a total of 21 people including elderly folks and children. They also killed cats and dogs. And, although they shot some of the animals, they preferred to use metal rods, screwdrivers and hammers on their victims. Admittedly, they killed "for fun."

If interested in seeing one example of their victims, Google "3 Ukrainians hammer" and a link for a site called bestgore contains a video of the young men killing a man with a hammer, by tearing off his face and jamming a screwdriver into his eyes. It's very violent and disturbing to see a real living person get killed.

Tell me, my friend, what did Adam Lanza want from 6 and 7 year old children, that they could possibly give?
