Isn't our school system serving a dual purpose? Getting kids indoctrinated early on the regimented life? Makes going to prison easier. Or, if there isn't a criminal bone in your body, it certainly smooths the way to productive tax paying laborers. Be it a factory laborer, or an entrepreneur who "just wants to make his money and be left alone". No waves.

Armed guards in schools may truly be necessary now, but what indelible mark has this made on all of us? What will children growing up in a society like this become. Mute?

There is a better way, we must demand it. We the people must find the better way, because in the end there exists no founding fathers with superhero capes to save us. What will save us is fathers that love their children and know what duties are placed upon a man's shoulders in his life. Will he be a man that rises to the occasion, or a neutered sheep that goes along for the ride and dies of old age never having been a man.

I disagree. One gun in an entire school is a bad a idea because it is not nearly enough. Furthermore, the AG wants the gun locked up in a secure location.

Meanwhile, the killer's gun won't be locked up in a secure location.

Let any teacher who wishes to carry, carry.

Any would-be killer would not know if there are zero guns in the school or 20. THAT is a deterrent.
