I think Piers Morgan is a total wanker, and certainly don't want him back here in the UK... but, haven't you guys got anything more troubling to protest about?

So some US citizen wants Piers Morgan deported from the country for expressing an opinion, representing free speech enshrined in the constitution, because his free speech opinion is against the 2nd amendment of the constitution.

Have you anti Piers Morgan people really analyzed this position?

Aren't you arguing against the very constitution you are claiming to uphold?

Which is more important free speech or the right to carry guns?

Is your position that the constitution doesn't apply to Piers Morgan because he isn't an American Citizen?

Wouldn't that then mean that none of the constitution would apply to a guest to the USA making all your laws invalid to guests in your country?

Personally I agree with you. As much as I despise what the guy says, I think the BOR applies to everyone in the country and should apply to everyone in the world.

I also understand the points made about why the petition exists. AC 21961165 is also right. How would your countries react if a Yank was on your TV......? About the same I'd say.

Back when the constitution was written if you didn't own a gun your family didn't eat. So guns were very necessary.

Back when the constitution was written you had just evicted the Brits from your country. Guns obviously played an important role in that.

Personally I am anti guns... I hate them.

However, how you go about the reasonable dis-arming of the population, when the country has a culture based on gun ownership - I just don't know.

I think it is an American debate and one which Americans will decide for themselves.
