Just one other point.
The supposed socialistic solidarity of Germany is a joke.
A woman I met from there is getting close to retirement age. I asked here where and when she wanted to retire, since Germany is very beautiful.
"Ich werde arbeiten bis ich tot umfalle!" she laughed.
(I'm gonna work til I fall over dead) This from a country that loves to chide America for a million imagined sins.
