Does anyone know which way the sun goes through the galaxy and the orbit of the planets around the sun as it goes?

Just thinking about the earth's position in space on march through may.

Maybe at this point in the year the earths orbit is closest to __________?

Or maybe it is in front of the son as it orbits? not really sure just throwing ideas out there!
