Just listened to your friend's band's single and I can honestly say that it was the most dreadful and awful sounding racket I've heard in quite a while.

To call it music would be much too kind. It sounded like a constipated demonic spirit was trying to take a shit or something. It was terrible.

Maybe your friend was lying about getting signed? I can't imagine any record company that would sign such nonsense. This is clear proof that this current generation has almost zero musical talent.
