They'll never get that amount, but they might bring information to light about the school's security system, cameras, etc. Quoting: GladioDaddy-O Anything they don't want shown won't be shown. But not showing something is showing something, in a way. You're right but look at the Obama Document cover up and the Benghazi cover up along with many more. Exactly. They show their hand. Sometimes we'll not now what actually happened, we'll just know they're lying. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 31061813 United States 12/29/2012 12:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think this lawsuit is legitimate, because schools SHOULD be a place of safety...shooters should NOT be able to enter and terrorize children. This was the state's FAULT. It will hopefully change things so that all schools have armed guards, or at least much better security features that would help to prevent something like this. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18535219 Another thing as others have mentioned, it will bring much more power for the investigation into the things that don't add up, potentially revealing a false flag attack, multiple shooters, etc. The public basically has no real info, and a lot of conflicting nonsense. Nuts that the same cop is in charge of this... Its your tax money paying the family. Your right school should have armed guards but i personally see this act as selfish. 100million?? What are you guys talking about? You really think armed guards are the solution? Talk about playing right into their hands. Please govt, MORE security! pft I remember our rent a cop at my high school. We had to get around him to sneak off for lunch sometimes. He wasn't armed but even if he was, do you realize that 1 or even 2,3 guards will not stop a determined clever sociopath. Not saying the accused was, because it seems to me like a false flag but even if it wasn't. Armed guards are not the solution, you will only have dead guards to deal with on top of it all. The repetition of boring days at any school will surely bring on complacency and their routines are easily cased by any nutcase with half a brain. |

Its better then anything else being talked about on the media. You know they won't loosen up Gun laws so it's either Armed guards or strict Gun laws. Those seem to be the only options being layed out on the media. "What you perceive to be becomes your reality." :ftwpanda: dapurps |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 31061813 United States 12/29/2012 12:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm no rocket scientist but I did spend time in the military and it very simple to safeguard a location. 1 or 2 ways in or out of the school, thats it! All others are locked from outside entry and you have teachers rotate out watching the entrances and keeping the doors locked. How easy is it to spot a kid going to the school and someone who doesn't belong, easy! Just dont let them in. |

And to bring kids up in a fear driven environment seems meh "What you perceive to be becomes your reality." :ftwpanda: dapurps |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31061813 Btw, how do you think they keep flight lines full of armed fighter jets safe from random people trying to disable them? 1 way in, you cross that line without a badge you are shot. |

You will always have an excuse, everyone does. The real solutions to these problems will never be discussed because there arent very many smart people in charge. |

Yep we already live in it in Canada as well but to make it worse is dumb. Homeschooling was how it was done for thousands of years so i completely agree.
