we look at how the tea party was demonized and marginalized by democrats and the media for just protesting high taxes. i read this morning that the tea party is being blamed for the world's economy? what? we realize we have much to lose by taking this to the streets and we hope against hope that there is still a chance to do this another way.

we look at the faces of our children and try for their sake to believe in the "system" even though in our hearts we know that the system is irrevocably broken.

people have to be desperate to do desperate things, and while we are defintely on that path we have not arrived just yet.

That pretty much sums it up. 99 % of what resides in what is called the US will never understand that though. Something terrible is coming, common sense people will stay out of the way and clean up afterwords which is usually the case. This might have worked in the 1880's but it is an idea whose time has long since died.

The fact that the government takes tax dollars from sources other than just land ownership nullifies any right to just have only landowners voting.

If you pay tax in any way shape or form, you have a right in the decision on how your money is spent.

Or at least the illusion of it.
