I really can't grasp the concept, for GLP is so entertaining. Just look how much fresh doom abounds !

I haven't seen 2 yet, but I enjoyed the first one. I will put it on my to watch list.

1 was great. Sorry I don't know of any more modern comedies, nothing has appealed to me.

If you like stand up, Youtube has many George Carlin videos, he man was enlightening and hilarious, one of my favorite comedians.

I could watch videos/listen to Bill Hicks ALL DAY. The man was not only a comedic genius, but he was an absolutely kind, intelligent man with a great heart and a deep soul.

No comedian has before or since Bill Hicks, been able to fuse pure belly-busting laughter with deep, thoughtful topics that make you really *think.*

By the way, the 2nd custom smilie I posted was of "Gooby"....the doppelganger version of Goofy. There is an entire series of inappropriate cartoons with crudely drawn characters such as Dolan Duck, Gooby, Pruto, Bogs Binny, Mackey Muss. Definitely R or perhaps even X rated, be warned!

What up Laff! Drinking whiskey tonight. The wife and I just got back from watching Jack Reacher at the movies. I'm a huge Lee Child fan. He writes the jack Reacher series. My second favorite writer after Dean Koontz.

The movie was ok, worth watching.

Hey j. Sounds like you're having a good night. I tried to talk the honey into a movie tonight but it was a no go. I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise. As a matter of fact, I was asking my daughter's boyfriend tonight why they still let him make movies. Of course he didn't have an answer for me. lol. I haven't read any of the Jack Reacher series yet but I'm a big reader and might try one on your recommendation. Enjoy the whiskey. Cheers!
