Spaceweather.com alone has posted at least a dozen "rare" events just this year, doesn't this guy work for NASA? So which is it Neil? and what's with the condescending attitude? You know what they say...he that doth protest too much....

I don't get exactly what your trying to say but Neil said that their is no significance to the "rare" alignments because they happen all the time.

I thought he said toward the end, something to the effect of 'be very leary of people who tell you of "rare" events'....and you have to agree, he is condescending

This is easy to research and prove...research when NASA launches space vehicles...some believe it is done during various alignments with the star....Sirius....something about it being 33 or 19.47 degrees above or below the horizon? Worth a look....might be something to it or not? I think Hoagland did a lot on this topic....he has been very quiet the last 10 years or so?
