well the first thing to do if you've lost something is to look everywhere. where did you last see it? did you look down the back of the sofa?

sorry couldn't help it hf

love is one of those things that can't be forced. no matter how bad one side wants it, it has to be both sides wanting it.

if its meant to be, then so be it. if not, then so be it.

sending you lots of love and hearts! hearts

time heals all wounds

know that there is someone out there just waiting for you to find them and love them!

may the force (of love) be with you!

Thank you. I will give it two more weeks and if he doesn't come back to me I will let him go. He knows how I feel about him, I just don't know how he feels about me.

Re: Advice Please - lost my man, how do I get him back?
Ok maybe I should ask a different question. How do I know if he still cares about me but is just being a stubborn man who resents a few things that I said?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29147487

What kind of things did you say? That might give us a better indication as to the possible level of resentment, lol.

you say he has already moved on to someone else so why waste your time thinking about what could have been?
what makes him so special that you'd even want to get back together given that he cannot even accept your opinion?
you should be glad its over.
learn from the experience and move on.

well he said some nasty things that hurt my feelings for no good reason but having too much to drink, so in return I tossed a few back and told him I didn't want to see him anymore. and that was that. Of course you have to understand the day before he is telling me he loves me and being all sweet, I am the best thing in his life, etc... I think he scared the crap out of himself with the 'love' word and panicked.

Okay here is some advice. In my opinion the alcohol does not make people 'nasty' - it just makes it easier for people who already possess the propensity to be 'nasty' to express themselves without their normal sober inhibitions... If he's a jerk to you when he's drunk then that is representative of the type of person he possesses the potential to be even when he's sober. Sometimes guys give you the 'sweet' and 'best thing in my life' routine once they start feeling confident they have secured a new piece of 'carne'.

You should operate with the intention to 'move on' from this guy and if he had any sincere emotional connection to you and any real degree of maturity then he would/will contact you to reconcile. Otherwise he probably moved on and you should prepare to do the same. : )

He is a jerk. I have a name for the process and it is not gender bias, but I cannot disclose it at this juncture.
For now you may want to consider enjoying it and re-prioritize.
Also, recognizing your value system, Knowing the difference between internal and external forces in reference to locus of control will help you from being food for jerks looking to dump you before the New Year and come back if they strike out.

That is not the problem... we had the best sex ever. and he knows it. I think the big problem was I was falling in love with him, and that is not what he wanted. What is with men and feelings?

do what any crazy mexicana would do. stalk him to his new girlfriends house. while they are inside together, start loudly yelling while you smash out all his car windows.

this will make his new girlfriend think twice about her safety. she in turn will dump your old boyfriend. having little recourse, your old boyfriend will come to the realization that he is stuck with your crazy ass and that he should have never taken up with you in the first place.
take him back and then make him take you on an expense vacation, immediately afterwards dump his sorry ass.
both of you will be then be happy to be rid of the other.
