United States 12/29/2012 01:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Experts call off search for life in Antarctic lake and again a coverup? Experts call off search for life in Antarctic lake called Lake Ellsworth. "British scientists have called off the hunt for exotic life in an ice-bound Antarctic lake after their mission was hit by a technical hitch." Now this is on the other side of the continent from Vostok lake, which you may remember the Russians drilled down 2.5 miles to break through, only to have a media blackout when the made it. a few pointed blips claim nothing was found in the lake. Now remember an entire Hollywood film crew just happened to fly down there as they broke through. why no cool documentary on it? I have yet to find any real NEWS on that one, now this is a Technical glitch? yeah right, whatever "THEY" are finding whilst drilling into ancient lakes, "IT" is not good. Thoughts? |

They went silent after breaking through, no? Maybe they found what they were looking for. Zombie Apocalypse is also strange, not they are related as for now. |

France 12/29/2012 03:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Experts call off search for life in Antarctic lake and again a coverup? The BAS team won't make it back there for at least another 4 possibly five years. The Russians cut through to Lake Vostok, but the pressurized water rose in the plug hole by 40 or so meters and refroze but evidently the Russians will go back to recommence work again next autumn. The USA team is seeking to reach the river fed Whillans Ice Stream also in West Antarctica, but no news from them yet, according to the Science insider website, but at the WISSARD website, you can follow what is going almost in real time. |
