You might be right. For about a week and a half I too have a constant feeling it'll happen anytime now. Especially after asteroid 2002 AU4 passed earth.
BTW, since it passed, quake activity increased, after it was suspiciously quiet for nearly a month.
Also, we only had two M8 this year, and both were at the same spot.
