You don't have to believe in anything, though many tell you that you have to.
I do believe that there is something intelligent behind all of this, but I won't try to define it like a religion or make up rules about it, just acceptance.
But like you I don't "believe in" anything that we have defined as "the one and only truth".
But respect others for doing so, their choice.

It's true that our actions as individuals does not seem to be that important, it can certainly feel that way, but sometimes your action makes other people think or even become inspired, maybe you could aim for that instead of a greater meaning or project.

you haven't failed, being nice is not about winning a prize, you should do it because you feel that it feels "right" to be that way, so please don't stop being nice just because there is nothing in it for you, maybe there is and you just don't see it yet, but does it really matter?

hmm good/bad many say this, or that we cannot possibly have good without evil.
why? I don't see the logic or the need for both, I don't feel like being good because I see evil actions, but because it feels right, and if we didn't have evil, we would just have good as a standard, would that be so bad? (heh)

maybe a lesson for you, involves other people, maybe some of them need to learn it aswell, though you have already.
perhaps you have to find a new side to old teachings and lessons, it's possible that there are multiple sides or views to everything.

Accepting or surrendering, hmm I don't know, maybe just accept that you are alive and everything in between is the outcome of your actions, and the actions of others ofcourse, I don't see an alternative to accepting it? if you choose to oppose everything, that is just another form of acceptance and actions? is it not?
if you feel like surrendering, you surrender to what exactly? since you didn't have a belief?

this is how I see it anyway, doesn't make it the truth or anything like it, just a point of view.

Of course it matters what you do as an individual - that is the power you have.
The crowd is only a sum of its parts.
Now if you choose to go with your nature, whatever that may be, and you are happy with that - cool, but why do you want to control ? You do according to your post, you want the crowd to have your values.

Oh, and how do you fail as a human being? Are you nice to people/creatures whilst stealing their children? That is a human trait.
Are you nice to people/creatures whilst holding them as slaves to service your needs? That also is a human trait.
You cannot fail as a human being if you are one.

I don't know jack shit about anything much, the only thing I know is that I would rather be nice than nasty, kind than unkind, helpful not obstructive - maybe it is up to you.

Some dicks said that we come here to Earth to experience the ascension on 21 Dec. because we couldn't make it by ourselves.

Now I want to sue somebody, I bought an expensive ascension ticket (also staying away from sexorgies with beautiful Swedish girlz) believing that it would make ascension easier. Now I don't have any friends, no sexbuddies, sitting in the cold snow here...stupid Mayans! LOL

Its a tough period for most.. but why give up?
I just think we need to redefine some principles important for us (if we havent already).
One of them is be good to others because it makes you happy.
I dont care if we are the minority, as it is always the minorities at first that bring a change in thoughts and habits. It needs as low as 10% of the population to achieve this.
IMO some changes in the society just happen without any big publicity or need to fight a much stronger opposite power.
It just happens because it has its own dynamics.
