Toyokawa Inari

No, no relationship.

This is a Buddhist temple but it is full of staues of O-Inari-sama, a Shinto fox God. I am not sure why this is.

"Toyokawa Inari" is a common name
for Shrines dedicated to the Fox God/s!

There are countless of this Shrines!

This one is strange to me because it is a Soto-shy Buddhist temple and not a shrine. I found it an unusual place. It's like "shinbutsu shuugou"?
