hi lisa,i havent watched the vid yet but just thought id comment anyways.i have never had a problem forgiving folks,a guy tried to abuse me when i was 8 but i found it so easy to forgive him.i just feel pity for people who do such evil things.what must it be like to be them?living their evil lifes,how do they live with what theyve done to other??i know i couldnt.anyway like i said i find it very easy to forgive,my partner on the other hand is opposite to me.hes a muslim and holds things against folks for ever.hes got a lil book in his head that lists everone whos ever wronged him and he lives to get revenge on them.its real sad,ive watched hatred eat him up more and more until he seems to have gotton to a stage where his heart is completly black.unforgiveness breeds hate,anger,envy ,revenge so many feelings that will consume you utterly.compared to him,im free as a bird,all thanks to the lord.i think this is what he spoke about when he said his yolk is light,hes carried my burdens and i no longer think of them,except like i said before in pity....its so sad to see a man consumed by hate,hes reached a stage where everyone hates him,but i pray oneday he will wake up and come to jesus..i feel so blessed by my forgiving heart ,il be forever grateful to our lord and saviour jesus christ.godbless you all.

Thx Lisa for the beautiful thread, as a die hard Spiritual guy, who believes in a bit of everything, we both know what love is built upon, and forgiveness is a big part of it.

We're all given Gods greatest power, the power of love & forgiveness. Without those two, I wouldn't know where my life would be without them.

I would tell them to pray and ask for peace, joy and comfort and a healing of their broken hearts.

We are all damaged goods, every single one of us. Some a little more then others, but we are all pretty much a disaster. It is only through Jesus that we can made whole again in Him and He can heal our wounds, bumps and bruises.

Poor little guy, I hope many will pray for him, I will.

Forgiveness is needed throughout the world, it is important too for every single person out there.

Unforgiveness is no different then a cancer, it fester, grows and kills a person eventually.

I would offer to walk along side them for awhile, because forgiveness isn't something you can convince someone with words. Shame and guilt take a long time to be removed, and I have found what helps is to demonstrate to the other person that they have incredible worth and value to me: just as they are.

I have come to realize that the most powerful words in the world aren't "I love you" but "You matter to me!"

If prayers work and there is such a thing as miracles then he needs all he can get ,i haven't prayed, i dont pray ,but this little guy needs it ,im not religious and have never professed to be ,but if we can get as many people praying for him who knows where this can go.

Will you pray for him?

Someday we will have that perfect glorified body and we won't be burdened by the pains of the fallen flesh anymore.

I'm really looking forward to that day because I have struggles too, I think we all do in some capacity.

There is one person I've companioned for over 15 years. And at least one of us has learned a lot in that time: me!
