you are a prisoner serving 11yrs for securities fraud

the officer who caught you gives you an opportunity to escape from the prison ,coz he thinks ur intelligent coz of your highly successful ponzi schemes

he asks you a riddle ..if you solve it you go free

he takes you to a room with 2 doors

one door is a way out of prison (you dont know which door)
other is for execution chamber ((you dont know which door)

there are also 2 robots in that room
1 robot always answer true facts (you dont know which robot)
other robot always answer false(you dont know which robot)

you can ask only 1 question to any robot

your objective is to find the door to outside

Ask either what the other would say, then go through the opposite door that they told you.
There is only one kind of freedom and that's individual liberty. Our lives come from our creator and our liberty comes from our creator. It has nothing to do with government granting it.
-Ron Paul

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Ask one robot if he is a robot.

If the robot answers yes, then ask the other robot which door to go free. You know he lied so pick the other door.

If the robot answers no, then ask the other robot which door and go through it!

That was the world's toughest?

Took me about a minute.

Logically you would spend the 11 years in prison.

Why face sudden death by choosing either door vs an 11 year sentence?

Even simpler is to ask "what would you say if I asked you which is the doorway out?"

The liar would have to lie about lieing which would become truth in this case. The truth teller would simply tell the truth.

you can ask only 1 question to any robot

that is not "you can only ask one question".

that means any robot you find you can ask one question.

Perhaps the hard part was the reading comprehension.

Re: worlds toughest logical problem 2
Just ask either robot what would happen if you went through one of the doors. If he's lying he will tell you something made up, if he tells the truth he will tell you one of your two scenarios. Choose accordingly.

the riddle is easy, it is the choice that's hard.

If you ask the robot that all ways tells the truth, it will say that the other robot will say that it is Door #1

If you ask the robots that all ways provides a false answer, it will say that the other robot will say that it is Door #1

Then take the other door (Door #2)

I have a logic problem for you, too.

Imagine that you are living in The Matrix. Everything you perceive is part of an elaborate computer simulation. The entire universe and everything you've ever known is part of this simulation.

The logic problem is thus: how do you break free from the matrix?

Any scenario like that would have been rigged to make sure the prisoner kills himself via the wrong door. I would examine the doors and casings and hinges and knobs for rub/wear marks and see which door has been opened the most and the least. I would then strip robots for wiring to make improvised rope and sharp object and then go through the least used door.
