I will say I'm in a hoodie and wool socks and pants (sorry guys) and my hands are cold but other than that not too bad. I was afraid my tea cup would explode due to it being less than 40 deg and the hot water being 112 deg? But it didn't and I'm still here. |

UGGG. How is that even possible, 300 degree surface temp, blower on, no change in temp. It must have been way colder in here than I thought. The thermometer only goes down to 50 so I estimated 40 by the needle travel under the 50 mark. I checked the pipes, the only frozen one is the laundry room. That pipe is on an exterior wall (idiot installer). So I expected trouble with it. Any more warm thoughts to help me this morning? Keep them clean please, I'm a good girl. Otherwise I guess this thread is done. Soooo Cooooold. |

Yes I can sleep 12 hours or what not and have the fire go completely out, but I know that I won't freeze to death or lose plants, plumbing etc. No its not going to be as cheap as not using propane at all, but it is cheaper in the long run if you don't have to pay for fixing broken pipes or pay for funeral expenses.
