Ok, are you just splitting hairs, or confused? The term E or ecstasy is just a catch all slang phrase for anything that contain MDMA. It can be a pill, tablet, capsule, powder (also called molly), etc. An E pill would act as a carrier for the MDMA to your body, like a marijuana plant acts as a carrier for THC. If you have a pill that contains anything other than MDMA and binders, it's not E. You got ripped off. Checkout dancesafe.org and look at all the lab test results for all the E pills being sold on the street. Those lab results exist solely to sort out the fake MDMA E pills from the real ones.

[ link to en.wikipedia.org] When MDMA started showing up in dance clubs and raves, people started giving it names. E, X, ecstasy, XTC, Adam, etc. Why do you think they called it E or ecstasy? Because that's the effect MDMA has. Selling ecstasy is highly profitable, therefore people found ways to tap into that market by making their own knockoff pills containing a mixture of different cheaper drugs, ranging from caffeine to dxm. These knockoffs were sold as ecstasy, E, XTC, etc, and that's where you missed the boat. So, if you're on the streets and you ask for E, but you get speed or caffeine or some other mixture, you are getting ripped off. End of story.
