Religion is for stupid people

Being 'right', or 'wrong' in this argument is irrelevant, but I'll give you the easy shot because you may be new to Atheism. While you may be correct about Religion, you are incorrect in your accusational attitude. Not everyone who is religious is an "idiot". It has more to do with how you were raised, and who your friends are, and what has happened throughout your life. It's kind of like being gay, in that it's sometimes not something you chose, but something you are born with. As an atheist, you have no right to accuse anyone of any idiocy. I'm with you, and yes, I do read the majority of the threads here, and although we may get treated unfairly because of our non-beliefs, sometimes you have to rise above, and know that this isn't the answer. You know what you know, and that has to be enough for you. The random attacks are not doing anyone a damned bit of good. I'm with you op, but not with your attitude. There's a lot of Religious people that I respect, and you shouldn't care what they believe. The fact you have your own beliefs should be good enough for you. Leave it at that. We have a new chance every time we wake up to put the insignificant arguments aside, and learn to respect other people based on their beliefs. That's all. Carry on.
