! We are in that time that will be cut short for the elect sake and the revival is happening

PAGAN HOLIDAY

In ancient Roman religion and mythology, Janus (Latin: Ianus) is the god of beginnings and transitions,[1] thence also of gates, doors, doorways, endings and time. He is usually a two-faced god since he looks to the future and the past. The month of January was named in honor of Janus by the Romans

*WHY ON THE INTERNATIONAL MEDIA YOU HAVE A WHOLE DAY OF THINGS AND EVENTS OF THE PAST YEAR ON NEW YEARS EVE*?

Beginning of the yearThe Winter solstice was thought to occur on December 25. January 1 was new year day: the day was consecrated to Janus since it was the first of the new year and of the month (kalends) of Janus: the feria had an augural character as Romans believed the beginning of anything was an omen for the whole.

Thus on that day it was customary to exchange cheerful words of good wishes.[136] For the same reason everybody devoted a short time to his usual business,[137] exchanged dates, figs and honey as a token of well wishing and made gifts of coins called strenae.[138] Cakes made of spelt (far) and salt were offered to the god and burnt on the altar.[139][140] Ovid states that in most ancient times there were no animal sacrifices and gods were propitiated with offerings of spelt and pure salt.[141]

This libum was named ianual and it was probably correspondent to the summanal offered the day before the Summer solstice to god Summanus, which however was sweet being made with flour, honey and milk.

THE NEW YEAR HOLY DAY GOD GAVE US
WAFYU

Rosh Hashanah occurs on the first and second days of Tishri. In Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah means, literally, "head of the year" or "first of the year." Rosh Hashanah is commonly known as the Hebrew New Year. This name is somewhat deceptive, because there is little similarity between Rosh Hashanah, one of the holiest days of the year, and the American midnight drinking bash and daytime football game.

There is, however, one important similarity between the Hebrew New Year and the American one: Many Americans use the New Year as a time to plan a better life, making "resolutions." Likewise, the Hebrew New Year is a time to begin introspection, looking back at the mistakes of the past year and planning the changes to make in the new year. More on this concept at Days of Awe.

The name "Rosh Hashanah" is not used in the Bible to discuss this holiday. The Bible refers to the holiday as Yom Ha-Zikkaron (the day of remembrance) or Yom Teruah (the day of the sounding of the shofar). The holiday is instituted in Leviticus 23:24-25

1 But these took this counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt,
42 That they might there keep their statutes, which they never kept in their own land.
43 And they entered into Euphrates by the narrow places of the river.
44 For the most High then shewed signs for them, and held still the flood, till they were passed over.
45 For through that country there was a great way to go, namely, of a year and a half: and the same region is called Arsareth.
46 Then dwelt they there until the latter time; and now when they shall begin to come,

(Sobek, the crocodile god, was associated with the might of the Pharaoh. He was worshiped as a solar diety as Sobek-Re.)
"The origins of the biblical word Messiah or Saviour is the Hebrew Meshih (Mashiach)," Osman concedes. But the original root of the term can be traced back even further, to ancient Egypt. "The English name Christ derives from Christos, meaning the Anointed One, or King, used in the Greek translation of the Bible in the third century AD." Osman explains that the tradition of anointing kings was an ancient Egyptian custom. "The king (Pharaoh) was anointed not with oil but with the fat of the holy crocodile. Here we find the original source of the word Messiah."

Re: JANUARY FIRST AND PAGAN PRACTICE CONTINUES IN THE CHURCHES
As you know paganism comes into the Christian churches through Roman Catholicism. The Roman Catholic Church celebrates three Marian solemnities which are also holy days of obligation in many countries during the liturgical year:

January 1 Mary, Mother of God
August 15 The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
December 8 Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Also found on the calendar of saints:

But it is still the first day of the year. We didnt create the calendar.
