What's the first thing you plan on cutting when taxes increase?

now that's a great start. i hadnt had a paper in years and years.

I threw out my best friend over three years ago.

I think it was an old Sharp or something like that. Now i can use the large entertainment-center table to do kitty litter. There is room for everything on it, and the tv room, i can use for cages.

Anything I can govt related.....
Devalue my house to cut property taxes (or dump it)
Cut back on utilities, with all the surcharges they get too much anyway
Turn in the recycling myself...so if I get a few cents, that less my town gets
Never park at a parking meter. If no free parking around I won't shop there.
Be sure I put in ALL deductions on my income tax return
I got a divorce so now I pay based on single instead of married filing separately

Then I will cut out eating out. Since they cut back on employee hours.

what's it going to be? combo of food, household items, entertainment.

high speed cable (what's the point if you can't napster?)

I started cutting in November to prepare for this.
I have cut the cable bill in 1/2. ($77.00 cut from the cable bill, and a bonus of cutting $30.00 a month from our electric bill by getting rid of all the DVRs)
Paid off the 3 credit cards and 1 loan ($250.00 per month)
Stopped buying expensive hair and skin products. ($55.00 per month)
Hope fully I have cut enough that there will be no "oh sh**" moments in Jan/Feb.

This is mt plan regardless of taxes.

I'm about to sell a $150K house. I plan on buying a $30K house on an acreage, and growing my own food. I should only need to work a little to pay a few bills.
I look forward to living.

not cutting a thing base salary to low to be affected really , still getting 28 thousand a year untaxed in housing + food allowance , + 14 k in health insurance , + 4500 in college money , if push comes to shove will move on post and apply for fraud stampes and free meals at schools like a lot of other dickbags .
Oh and still geting 4 k in eitc , eat your vitamins there and pull hard yax donkey people.

oh did I mention that if I could not shop at the commissary the family food bill would be in the 8000 a year range instead of 4000. )

Property taxes are local I don't resent them as much as others.

I'm cutting out my taxes altogether,I can't afford this type of government anymore.
