Something Internets, nontaxable. Its only a matter of time before they hang themselves. We can outlast them easily. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1012969 mark my words: there will be a tax on all internet sales by 2014. "Moral of the story is I chose a half measure when I should have gone all the way. Quoting: Frater good idea, the problems just keep getting worse and worse and yet the same people keep getting elected over and over again, so why should they change how they do business? You actually think that will help? My friend did that and the government appraisal said his home is worth millions, that he has to pay this huge amount of property tax, even though he spent only around 50k at most on the property. Believe me, they will fuck you over for everything now. |

momma coop User ID: 20442533 United States 12/29/2012 03:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I started cutting in November to prepare for this. I have cut the cable bill in 1/2. ($77.00 cut from the cable bill, and a bonus of cutting $30.00 a month from our electric bill by getting rid of all the DVRs) Paid off the 3 credit cards and 1 loan ($250.00 per month) Stopped buying expensive hair and skin products. ($55.00 per month) Hope fully I have cut enough that there will be no "oh sh**" moments in Jan/Feb. The power is yours. Take it back. In a world where you can choose to be anything, choose to be kind. |

Quoting: Renegade (Me too) Going Galt. Idiots in Washington. Well, hell, I can outsmart them. Starve the BEAST! This is mt plan regardless of taxes. I'm about to sell a $150K house. I plan on buying a $30K house on an acreage, and growing my own food. I should only need to work a little to pay a few bills. I look forward to living. This if you can ^^ Try living a minimalist lifestyle, cut whatever you can. Do not keep your money in the bank. Buy physical silver or other valuable commodities and save them for bartering. If you are disciplined enough, claim 10 dependents to minimize the amount taken out of each paycheck, but make sure to put the necessary money away for when you have to file your taxes the following year. Starve the beast as someone mentioned above...history shows us there will be no reform or positive change until the existing system collapses. The longer this beast limps along the more miserable they will make your life, take a stance and do something to end this tyranny, even if it's only minor monetary pushback. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 30617504 United States 12/29/2012 04:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Oh I like responding to this post! I plan to cut out soft drinks, movies, start to car pull, start a moms club to trade children's gently used clothing, cut premium cable, cut home phone (only cell), lower Internet package or drop all together and use hot spots for free Internet, no more eating out... I'm going to pull the purse strings shut on any large corporation purchase! I Christmas shop this year through stay at home moms :) no more giving my families hard earned money to corporations! I also got free banking, paid a few bills in advance to bundle on the checks, stamps I'd be charged! Learned a lot of cooking methods for filler foods... Saved so much already! Ill post more if I think of some! |
