I started cutting in November to prepare for this.
I have cut the cable bill in 1/2. ($77.00 cut from the cable bill, and a bonus of cutting $30.00 a month from our electric bill by getting rid of all the DVRs)
Paid off the 3 credit cards and 1 loan ($250.00 per month)
Stopped buying expensive hair and skin products. ($55.00 per month)
Hope fully I have cut enough that there will be no "oh sh**" moments in Jan/Feb.
Quoting: momma coop nice efforts. i've been trying to do some of those things as well. I am cutting my own hair now and using Dr Bohmers for soap and shampoo. Rinse hair with apple cider vinegar. Also, I don't buy cleaning chemicals. i use straight up white vinegar. I use Ajax dish washing liquid rather than expensive laundry detergent. Anyone else got good tips? try 3% peroxide for everything from mouth wash to counter tops.
