I started cutting in November to prepare for this.
I have cut the cable bill in 1/2. ($77.00 cut from the cable bill, and a bonus of cutting $30.00 a month from our electric bill by getting rid of all the DVRs)
Paid off the 3 credit cards and 1 loan ($250.00 per month)
Stopped buying expensive hair and skin products. ($55.00 per month)
Hope fully I have cut enough that there will be no "oh sh**" moments in Jan/Feb.
Quoting: momma coop nice efforts. i've been trying to do some of those things as well. I am cutting my own hair now and using Dr Bohmers for soap and shampoo. Rinse hair with apple cider vinegar. Also, I don't buy cleaning chemicals. i use straight up white vinegar. I use Ajax dish washing liquid rather than expensive laundry detergent. Anyone else got good tips? Is never getting laid again your New Years resolution? get wed instead of laid, then you can fight for it, instead of pay for it.
