Death toll in the US!! You still think its FIREARMS that need to be banned first?

I did some research, cause I was wondering what this whole US firearm hype was all about and it seems that there are LOTS of other things that need to get banned before firearms, if the lives of humans is of importance here. So here are the top causes of death in the US per year

So asking firearms (mainly used for self-defense in the US) to be banned while half a million people a year die from smoking while another half a million die from cancer (mainly caused by eating unhealthy food) ... is in my oppinion more than ridiculous
